When I called to set up a time for my bridals, she told me it was in and wanted to know if I wanted to wait until mid-April to get it or to mail it. Of course I wanted it ASAP, so she mailed it. We got it and loved the layout but weren't crazy with the design. The pictures looked great but the book had more of a "travel" feel . So I contacted JK and expressed our feelings and she told me it was not a problem..to mail it back and she would have her designer (aka-- Daughter in law) start on a new one. Well Monday night, JK messaged me on Facebook and told me the new one was in and she loved it way more than the original one and would be mailing it Tuesday. I thought, "Crap. That means it will come Wednesday and I have to go to Columbia to meet with the DJ. "
Well I got up yesterday, took my time around the house, I didn't have to be in Columbia til 2. So I decided to leave around 11:30 and I needed to drop off some outgoing mail. Well low and behold, the mailman was already here at our apartment complex. But he had just started sorting the mail. UGH! So I decided to waste some time, go to Belk, make an appointment for my make-up for my bridal pics next week. Did that, went back to the complex, he was putting mail in our area. Okay..time to waste more time... I went and washed off the pollen from my car, filled my windshield washer compartment with water since it was empty then went back to the mailbox. He was done with our area and have moved on..So I checked the box, sure enough I had a slip for a package. So I went and then asked the mailman if he'd dropped off packages yet at the front office. His answer.. "No, they're still in my truck." UGH! "But if you wait, I'll get it for you." SCORE! So after waiting 15 minutes for him to finish up, I walked over to his truck and he opened it and, boy there were packages everywhere!! Luckily, since I'd already received the first one, I knew how JK would be mailing it, and within seconds I spotted it and I was right. He handed it over and before I could get back to my car, I had the package open and the book out. And I'm so in love it!! It's amazing!! Judy Kay and Heather did such an amazing job!
These are just a few pictures but she gave our guest some more space to write and leave messages. And I love that Daisy was included and really shown in the book. The picture JK captured of her that day is one of my all-time favorites. I'm so pleased!!
But I have to say, I'm still stalking the mailbox...for RSVP's and checks from people going on the cruise with us. I have to pay off the bus next week and everyone's supposed to pay me by Friday so I keep checking the mail for that so I can deposit the money.
Things are really coming along...44 days to go....like I said, I met with the DJ and went over everything. Dave's mom is finishing up rehearsal dinner invites, I went through our ceremony again and made some adjustments/changes, got our serving set/flutes...and I got my dress last week! It fits perfect!! Sorry no posting pictures since Dave reads the blog... but you won't have to wait much longer! I'm getting really excited! I can't wait!
