Three Days To Mrs. Turner!

The big day is almost here! I can't believe it! Things are all just about done. It's small things that need to get done this final week, like get my nails done, eyebrows waxed, run last minute errands. But the list is really short now.

My bags are packed, all my stuff is together. This afternoon, I have a nice massage scheduled thanks to my Matron of Honor, Suzanne.  Then I'm Columbia-bound to spend the next few days with my family. I'm so excited to have family coming from Texas and Oklahoma as well as friends from Colorado and Alaska! I can't thank those people enough for traveling all this way.

Well this posting should be the last until I am a Mrs. So I will see you on the flip side.

Less Than A Week!

Less than a week from now, I'll be Mrs. Dave Turner and I will be in Tampa about to board the Carnival Legend for a 7 day cruise...no cell phone...no Facebook..no blogs...no email! I'm so excited and can't wait!

 The ship features just over 1,000 staterooms... on 12 decks.. with two pools... an adult only area...and a steakhouse restaurant.  That's located in the Carnival tail..which is made of glass..

The pictures of it are beautiful!! It costs a little bit more to eat there but we've heard it's so worth it. We've made reservations to eat there halfway through the week! I can't wait! We're trying to figure out what excursions we want to do at the 4 stops we are making....Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Isla Rota & Belize City.

Yesterday, Dave and I got everything done on my checklist.. He has a few things he has to do to finish up on his list but shouldn't take long. I've been doing laundry to get everything washed so we can pack... we are trying to figure out last minute arrangements.  We originally planned to go up together in Thursday with one of our groomsmen, Mike. But there's no way we can fit all out suitcases, gifts for the bridal party and wedding stuff plus Mike's stuff.. and the three of us in my car. Plus we'll have to bring stuff back plus gifts from the wedding. So we're gonna have to take two cars up, so I may go ahead and head to Columbia Wednesday so I get a chance to spend some more time with people who are coming in from out-of-town. 


It's really starting to set in.. I'm getting married this week!!

8 Days Away!!

Wow!! Time is really flying now. I can't believe it's already May and I'm getting married next week!!


We got just about everything done.. it's just small things now that I need to do here or drop off there or call.

Our final count is right around 175... which is awesome cause that's the number I based everything on for food!  There's still a few people who have told me they aren't sure but are trying and I'm still getting some RSVPs in the mail.. even though the date for those was April 30th. Oh well.. the more the merrier!!

I've picked out my bridal portrait with Judy Kay and I can't be more excited! I told Dave "It's not your typical stand in front of the State House Bridal pic." He asked how come.. and I told him "Because I didn't go to the State House."  I can't wait to see the print and hear what people have to say about it!  I LOVE IT!

The only things left to do.. finish programs, which is what I'm doing now (I'm just taking a break), find a pen for the guest book and pack for Columbia & the Honeymoon!  I can't wait.
